LODC CEA Statement

Language of Dance believes in the value of the arts, specifically dance, as a universal language. We are striving to create equitable environments that are reflective of the various community's demographics and that affirm and practice the values of community, engagement and access.

We respect all communities with which we work and strive for ongoing reflection to create a space of belonging.

• Dance: LOD embraces all dance forms from around the world.
• The LOD framework provides movement literacy opportunities for practitioners to create learning experiences in all environments. These can include K-12 schools, higher education, dance studios and community spaces.
• The LODC board is demographically representative of the communities we serve and conscientiously committed to multiple perspectives and modalities.
• LOD continues to create authentic and mutually beneficial relationships and collaborations.
