LOD Master Practitioner Bridge Course

*Course prerequisite is the completed Master Practitioner Certification course sequence.
The Language of Dance® Master Practitioner Bridge Course is a 50 to 60-hour participation-based course delivered via Zoom. Those enrolled will be expected to attend 36 hours of live sessions, participate in discussions and collaborative projects, and complete 14 to 24 hours of homework as assigned and via their own personally established goals with the instructors.
Purpose: The purposes of this LOD Bridge course are (1) to build your capacity and confidence to communicate your LOD value by applying LOD to a community need and (2) to help you realize your potential as an LOD professional and representative of the Language of Dance Center.
Successful completion of the Bridge course assignments and presentation of your LOD Implementation plan will make you eligible to enter the LODC Teacher Trainer program to teach the Foundations courses and/or Master Practitioner courses.
Course Goal and Objectives: The goal of this course is to identify and plan ways you will use LOD Theory, Literacy Processes, and Six Basic Language Skills as tools to address, deepen, or serve a specific socio/cultural/aesthetic need in a community. You may collaborate with a partner in this course to achieve this goal.
